Houghton Wisdom Pinot Noir 2019

The 2019 is a brilliant and vibrant strawberry red in colour. Displaying aromas of strawberries, beetroot and black cherry with flashes of cardamom and anise. Further complexed by subtle influence of French oak spice. Juicy and sweet fruited palate, full of ripe berry fruits, cherries and fine tannins. Subtle use of oak combines with a mineral acid drive to provide a palate of balance and texture.

Food matches include charcuterie with strong cheeses. A wine to be enjoyed upon release, or will reward those who patiently cellar over the next 5 years
