The 2016 vintage is dark red in colour with a scarlet hue. The nose shows bright, lifted, and intense blackberry and raspberry fruits with hints of mint choc, black pepper and liquorice complimented with nuances of spicy, toasted vanilla bean.
TASTING NOTES
The palate is intense, complex and richly textured, this wine has fresh fruit flavours of mulberry, plum, and blackberry combined with cedar, spice, dark chocolate and hints of vanillin. A wonderful wine with a firm tannin structure, soft acid and a rich mid palate that leads to a persistent and lingering finish.
