Deep red with a magenta hue. This shiraz opens with plums, violet and spice. The sweet notes of mocha and coffee, make this shiraz very inviting.
TASTING NOTES
The palate is rich yet restrained, supple yet driven, round and friendly but still showing characteristics of elegant cool climate shiraz. This is a bright, crunchy and pleasing Coonawarra shiraz, ready for consumption early or up to 10 years cellaring.
Vintage Conditions for 2019 saw the Coonawarra receive good winter rains, which set up the vines well for the growing season. Temperatures were warm with minimal heat spikes, the steady temperatures continued through vintage.
