Brookland Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2014

The Wilyabrup sub-region is the focus for fruit used in our Cabernet Merlot. The Brookland Valley Estate Cabernet Merlot includes fruit from our Block 101. This is the second patch that you pass as you drive into the property and slopes down towards the Wilyabrup Brook. The vines are closely planted so they compete with each other to help control vigour. Hand harvested into small crates the fruit is transferred directly to the winery where the bunches are hand sorted to ensure only the best quality grapes make it to the open fermenter.
